Justin
Justin recently reached his one-year anniversary with Goodwill. He came to Goodwill’s Workforce Development job placement program through a referral from the Ohio Bureau of Vocational Rehabilitation. He completed a two-week work adjustment in the Goodwill industrial contracts area. Subsequently, he was hired and now works three days a week folding instructions for Whirlpool dryers. Justin says he enjoys his work and the work environment for several reasons.

First, he truly likes the people he works with, indicating they’re very nice and treat him like family. Second, Justin’s employment with Goodwill has allowed him to move into his own apartment.

Third, a steady income has also enabled Justin to set a goal of owning a car. Indicating he already has his driver’s license, Justin doesn’t have a particular make or model in mind … it “just has to run.”

Lastly, his job has given Justin the means to continuing pursuing a hobby that began as a small child and continues through today … collecting matchbox cars.
