Goodwill’s retail stores exist thanks to your donations. Revenue from the retail stores goes directly back to your community to provide jobs and training services for local individuals with barriers to employment. Is Marion Goodwill Industries a non-profit? Yes. Marion Goodwill Industries is recognized as a 501 (C)(3) non-profit organization by the Internal Revenue Service. Can I get a tax deduction for my donated items? Yes! When you donate at any of our attended donation centers/retail stores during business hours, you will receive a donation receipt for tax purposes. Fairground St. Marion, OH 43302 What is the Return Policy for retail store purchases? Marion Goodwill Industries’ Retail Stores will accept returned items within 7 days of purchase. Upon returning, you must show the original purchase receipt, and you will receive store credit to be used within 30 days of the return. Note: Each separate Goodwill network has varying return policies, please be sure to inquire about the return policy before you buy. Are Goodwill retail stores designated for low income or otherwise disadvantaged shoppers? Not at all! Our retail stores gladly welcome shoppers of all income levels. When you shop at a Goodwill store, you are funding our programs and services which support disadvantaged or low income individuals by educating, training and placing them into jobs. What can I donate? Goodwill accepts your gently used clothing, shoes, household items, cars, and more! Essentially, when donating, make sure your items are not dirty or broken. You can donate at any of our 8 retail stores, 2 additional Attended Donation Centers located at the Shopgoodwill.com location and the Corporate Office, or one of any 15 conveniently placed donation booths throughout our five counties. We receive thousands of donations every week, and we process them as quickly as possible in order to make them available for sale. We always have new and unique items in stock.
